RAMP Team App
Step-by-Step Guide
A clear, parent-friendly walkthrough to get set up and stay connected all season.
1) Download & Install
- iPhone/iPad: Open the App Store and search “RAMP Team App.” Tap Get to install.
- Android: Open Google Play and search “RAMP Team.” Tap Install.
- The app is free. Allow notifications when prompted so you don’t miss schedule changes.
2) Create Your Account (or Log In)
- Open the app and tap Create Account (or Log In if you already have one from a previous season/club).
- Use the same email you used when registering your player with the club so the app can match you to the right team.
- Create a password and enter your display name (use your own name, not your player’s).
- Check your email for the verification code, then return to the app to Verify & Login.
3) Find/Join Your Team
- Once your player has been rostered by the club, your team will appear automatically in the app.
- If you don’t see a team after logging in:
- Confirm you used the same email as registration.
- Give it a little time after rosters are published.
- If it still doesn’t appear, contact your team manager/club admin to confirm your email on the player profile.
4) Enable Notifications (Recommended)
- In the app, go to Settings (gear icon) Notifications and enable alerts for practices, games, event changes, and messages.
- On your device, ensure system notifications for the RAMP Team App are allowed.
5) Add Family Members (Optional)
- To let another parent/guardian, grandparent, or the player access schedules and messages:
- Go to Settings My Team Members.
- Select your player and add the additional email address(es) under Parent/Guardian emails.
- Ask them to create their own app account using that same email to connect.
6) Set Availability (RSVP)
- Tap any practice/game to mark your player Going / Not Going / Maybe.
7) View & Sync the Calendar
- Use the Calendar tab to see all upcoming practices, games, and team events.
- To sync with your phone calendar, use Calendar Sync from the app (iCal/Google Calendar supported). Updates flow automatically when changes are made.
8) Messaging & Team Chat
- Use Team Chat to send quick messages, photos, or files.
- You can message the whole team, a group (e.g., defenders), or 1:1 (coach/manager).
- Keep messages timely, respectful, and soccer-focused.
9) Game-Day Tools
- Maps & Venues: Tap any event for map/directions to the field.
- Documents: Coaches/managers may share files (e.g., tournament info, codes of conduct) directly in the app.
- Last-Minute Changes: Weather or field updates will trigger notifications—check the app before you leave.
10) Quick Troubleshooting
- No team showing? Verify you’re using the registration email; ask your manager to confirm your email on the player profile.
- Duplicate notifications? Try Settings ? Account Settings ? Reset Registered Devices in the app, then log back in.
- Changed your email? Ask your manager/club registrar to update the email on the player profile and your app account.
- Still stuck? Contact your team manager or club registrar for help.
11) Good-to-Know
- Privacy: Only teammates and staff can see team info. Avoid posting personal details in public places.
- Etiquette: Use clear subjects, keep chats concise, and move sensitive topics to 1:1 messages with staff.
- Timeliness: Mark availability as soon as you can; coaches rely on it for practice plans and game lineups.
