This year we are trying to organize more events within the Northeast and also to take more age groups to the tournament(s) in Saskatoon!
We will be collaborating with Melfort, Tisdale & Choiceland this year to strengthen our relationships in the Northeast. We will provide more opportunities for our players to play more home & away games with these clubs. Our goal is to provide a transparent predetermined schedule for home & away games so the players/parents have the ability to attend these events more conveniently. Please check under League Play - Outdoor for information for each game (including Soccer Fest in Melfort). There is no additional fees to play in these games other than the cost of travel.
We are hosting a day of soccer in Nipawin this year; the Backyard Soccer Bash, for more information on this event see Backyard Soccer Bash - Outdoor. Note: All players in U7, U9, U11 and U13 are already registered for the Backyard Soccer Bash event on their respective league play teams. (If you cannot play this event please inform your league play coach, please wait until the season starts). U5 players must register for this event and based upon registration we'll determine if we can offer U5 games. U15+ players must register for this event, we are looking having the U15+ group play a team of coaches for the final event. ALL Nipawin teams will be determined by registration and teams might need to be combined to play.
We will be also trying to take more age groups of our Nipawin FC team to the tournament in Saskatoon this year. We are trying to send a U9, U11, U13, U13 Girls team and U15/17 team this year. The Harder Avalon Classic is May 31 to June 2. There is an additional tournament fee for each player to play of $60. The cost of travel and accommodation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian when attending tournaments.
